Generally speaking November is known for two things in the U.S. – voting and thankfulness. The latter generally associated with the Thanksgiving holiday. But at its core really is about being thankful for those things in one’s life. Needless to say I am thankful for you Brothers and what you do to contribute to my life, each other and to those known and unknown to you. I am also hopeful that for those whose are positively impacted by the reach of the men of Mu Lambda that they too are thankful for their unknown and stalwart benefactors.
In regards to the former, (voting), of course this august body of men know the value of voting and also the high import of a politically literate and savvy populace. Performing the act of voting without a functional political IQ leaves one to be easy prey to support concepts and ideas with their ballot that is not in their best interest. I would hope that when we execute our Voteless People is a Hopeless People national programs that we go beyond the act of registration for voting but also include the raising of the political IQ of the populace. This is without regard to a political party or ideology.
Carry on Brothers.
Fraternally,
